Thank you for a Great 2009 season!

As summer begins, we are putting the final touches on a great 2009 season. On behalf of the Ocala Rotary Babe Ruth Baseball League, we would like to extend our gratitude to the community for all of your support.

We start by thanking our always gracious and supportive Board Members for everything they’ve done. The league wouldn't be the great organization they have become without them;

· President ~ Dennis Ragosta

· Vice President ~ Tim Surrency

· Treasurer ~ Ed Earnest

· Fund Raising Coordinator/Secretary ~ Ray Hamilton

Along with the Board Members, we would also like to recognize our coaches;

· Cubs ~ Scott Hansen and Andy Haynes

· Diamondbacks ~ Jeremy Harris, Dirk Lewis and Lonny Haynes

· Dodgers ~ Tim Surrency, David Goodro, Damon Spade and Brian Taylor

· Marlins ~ Johnny Zacco, Mike Gourley and Chuck Pidgeon

· Mets ~ Steve Stevens, Ray Bauders and Jerry Blaznik

· Rays ~ Kent Tedder, Mike Stevens, Scott Waldren and Rod King

· Reds ~ Bob Chetok, Ray Rood and Ron Siebert

· Red Sox ~ Keith Tippet and Robert Ritterhoff

· Tigers ~ Scott Armstrong, Chris Armstrong and Tim Legge

Thank you for believing in the all the young men and showing them how to be great team players on and off the field, they will always remember you.

Next, we would like to thank our players; this is why the Ocala Rotary Babe Ruth Baseball League was started. It was a pleasure to watch all the young learning and working hard every practice and playing a game they enjoy. We could not have done it without you.

Last, but certainly not least, we would like to thank the Parents and Fans for the never-ending support. We will be forever grateful. Without you we would not have had the best season in Ocala Rotary Babe Ruth Baseball history. You all are one of a kind.

We will be leaving with great memories of this wonderful season.  With your strong support, we are confident that future Ocala Rotary Babe Ruth Baseball League participants will be privileged to participate in a great youth baseball organization.
